Or home-away-from-home for the week. Built around the turn of the
century, it was originally housing for the
island superintendent.
The Ossabaw Island Foundation completely renovated the Club House
in 2003.
Orange Night!
The first annual Orange Night was held this year. It was tightly
contested, but after a second round
of voting, the grand prize was awarded
to Leslie Potts.
Middle Place
This small house was hand-built by the students of the Genesis
Project in the 70's. It is entirely
hand-joined - no nails or screws were
used in the construction. In spite
of 25 years of inattention, this little
house is sturdy and strong.
The alumni from the Genesis Project are among the strongest supporters
of Ossabaw.
Collaboration
Mornings and afternoons on our trip are spent in the field. Ossabaw
is so visually rich that the toughest
part of the day is deciding where to
paint.
